Be realistic with your resolutions & goals.

The new year is a natural time to evaluate where you are in comparison to where you want to be, and we often set some pretty hefty goals. It can be exciting and energising to feel as though you have a new purpose for achieving what you want.

Although we love the idea of dreaming big, sometimes we can put a little too much pressure on ourselves to achieve some pretty hefty things in a short period of time. There is a lot of new years resolutions that look like this: ‘Lose 20 lbs. Run a marathon. Buy a house. Meditate everyday. Eliminate sugar. Become financially free. Learn how to surf.’ That’s a pretty tall order for anyone.

Unrealistic Goals will cause you to feel undue stress or pressure. There’s no point in having goals that create anxiety. Don’t punish yourself for not being where you think you should be.

SMALL GOALS + KEEP FOCUSED:

> Attend 1VIGOR 1-2 times per week…

The benefits of exercise is you feel more energised and you have more motivation for other aspects of your life.

If you start 2018 attending 1 session per week at 1VIGOR, after 2 weeks:

  1. You will naturally want to start eating healthier – it won’t be forced
  2. You will want to exercise more and you will enjoy it – it won’t be a chore
  3. You will wake you with more energy and motivation for you life!!
